Volunteering
The National Hospice and Palliative
Care Organization reports that approximately 400,000 hospice
volunteers contribute more than 18 million hours per year.
Why are Volunteers important?
Hospice volunteers are the heart of Hospice and among
its most valuable resources. They can bring companionship

age group and background. All Hospice Volunteers are committed
to making a difference in the lives of their neighbors.
